I made this yesterday night while watching Japanese VCD. Very easy and it.s colourful.

きのう夜日本VCDを見ながら、これを作りました。簡単けれど、カラフルんなブレスレットです。

Sister is a Blessing

Through the patience and kindness of my second sister,

who painstakingly taught me (zero knowledge)

the basics of beading:

the terminology,

the jargons,

the hours spent drawing threading paths

the hours of translation whether it is Japanese

or Chinese explaining the how-tos

whenever I emailed her..

and I can now proudly present some of my works.

Beading Kit/ビーズキット

I am doing this necklace at the moment. A beading kit by Beads Factory Japan.
いつもこのネックレスを作ろうと思っいたのですが、なかなか作る機会が無くて.....<**>
だけど、今回作てみたら以外と簡単だったので、他の色もチャレンジしてみたいです。

Beading Books/ビーズの本

This doggie beading book is a present from my Japanese friend, Keiko Ikeda san.
圭子池田さんからもらったのプレゼント。

Cross Stitch/クロス。ステッチ

I love this cross-stitch very much. Out of so many pieces that I have done, I love this the most.

It took me quite a long time to finish cos the original design is a tapestry. I tried to match the

colors with DMC floss and took me about a week or so checking the colors in the needlework

shop. The original tapestry is now at the William Morris gallery in Walthamstow, London.

PAPER TOLE /シャドーボックス

このシャドーボクスは約5年前にやりました。私の先生、勝谷さんもう日本へ帰国しました。

I love paper tole very much. I did this about 5 years ago under a Japanese lady, Mrs. Katsutani. She has returned to Japan for good.

PINK BRACELET /ピンクブレスレット

昨日作りましたのブレスレット。次女のウエディングの夜会服の色とだいたい似ている。

The color of this bracelet is very similar to my 2nd daughter's evening gown. The wedding

reception will be held next month in the hotel in Penang.
