久々のシャドウボックスの登場です。

今回披露できるのは簡単なものだけです。

老眼鏡を使って手細かい作業は難しいお年頃になりました。

These prints look easier to cut as not many details
but the tiles of the house, the window panes
and the pebbles are the challenge.

シャドーボックス：伝統的な交通機関切手-Paper Tole Art : Malaysia Stamps - Traditional Transportation

マレーシアの切手で作ったの作品。
人力車と牛車の切手。
RM2　－　牛車の切手
50セントと30セント　：人力車の切手。

マレーシアで19世紀から20世紀の輸送の最も人気のある最古のモードの乗り物。
旅行や物資の輸送など、さまざまな目的のために使用された。
現代の水準上昇と徐々に段階的に廃止された
モダン交通機関がもっと速くて、安全です。

ペナンでは、まだジョージタウン、特にペナンロードのシティテルホテルの隣やコーンウォリス近くのエスプラネードに沿ってトライショーをたくさん見つけることができます。
ジョージタウンの街がクローズアップ参照したい場合はペナントライショー、または一般的にbecaとして知られている好ましい選択です。
驚くべきではないことほとんど三輪ライダーさんが英語話はペラペラです。
悪い習慣は、道路は、ノーエントリに回し、赤信号を破って、交通ルールに従っていないです。

Traditional transportation - RM2 stamp featuring bullock carts
50 cents featuring rickshaw and 30 cents featuring trishaw.

Bullock carts, one of the earliest and most popular modes of transport in the 19th and early 20th century in Malaysia. They were used for a variety of purposes, such as traveling and transportation of goods. They were phased out slowly with rising levels of traffic and modern
transportation which are faster and safer.

In Penang, you still can find plenty of trishaws around the capital city of George Town, especially next to Cititel Hotel on Penang Road and along the Esplanade near Fort Cornwallis.
Penang trishaws or commonly known as beca is the preferred choice if you like to see the city of Georgetown close-up. Don't be surprise that most of the trishaw riders can speak fluent English
and they are very knowledgeable. One bad habit that I have to mention is they sometimes don't follow traffic rules, turning into no-entry roads and beating red traffic light.

These stamps are issued on 18 August 2004 and it's so difficult to out and tole the wheels
of the trishaws, the tiny wire parts. I have given this paper tole to a friends as souvenir.

This is very popular among locals and foreigners.
Fruit series stamps of Malaysia.
An ideal gift for friends and business associates.

After almost two decades, local fruits like rambutan, pineapple, durian, starfruit, banana, mango, papaya and mangosteen appearing on Malaysian stamps have come to an end. These stamps were issued on 5th June 1986 which made up the fruit series of the national definitive stamps.

In their replace, birds -- spotted dove, bilbus, long-tailed parakeets, white-rumped shamas and olive-backed sunbirds were used starting May 2005.

I misplaced my durian stamps so The King of Fruits is not featured in this set.

出窓の中のキ ャ ン デ ィ ーを覗いている男 の子が、かわいらしいですね。

女 性 が 子 供 の 手 を 握 っ て 、 道 の 角 を 曲 り を 走 っ て 行 く

Picture by Anton Pieck. The little boy looking for his candy.
Bottles of candies and boxes, cakes are cut off in tiny pieces.
I used a thin film of plastic and glued to the window frame to make
into the window glass pane.
"Mum...I want that candy, and that and also this...." cried the little boy
standing there in the cold weather..
The tricky part of this picture is to separate the display window from the
other building and you can see the lady holding the boy's hand walking
down the road as if there is a curve turning at the corner.
It's fun to do this picture.

よそのサイトで見て作りたくなった作品です
パーツは多くないので作り出すと早く仕上がります
厚みと床の上げ方がうまく合わなかったのでねずみがちょっと浮いてます^^;

I used 5 sheets and stacked up the floral part following

自 分 で は 満 足 し て い ま す 。

I have completed many paper tole years back
but left them in my cupboard without framing up.
Picture featured here is not varnished yet as the gloss finish affect the picture effect.
This print is by Kim Jacobs, Kitchen Balcony.
Size: 8.5" x 9.25"
I used 8 prints to get the 3-dimension effect and there are lots of over-lapping.
Lesson at Katsutani San's condominium every Saturday.
It's takes me 2 months to finish this.
Thin sheet of plastic were glued to the door and window to make the glass effect.

Litho paper tole picture of roses.
I took around 2 months to finish this paper art.
The most difficult part is the stacking of the roses layer by layer to
creative a three dimension effect.
The finished piece of art should not have any silicon visible but yet
a three dimension effect is shown at a glance.
The 1st picture shows the front view of the finished project.
The 2nd picture shows the finished project at an angle where layers of
paper are being stacked to a height.
3rd and 4th pictures give a close up look of how I stacked the papers using
clear silicon.
