先日心ひかれて購入した本。センスのいい作品がもりだくさん！

この本を参考にいろいろ作ってみようと思います。

掲載作品は全体的に、金古美の金具を使ったアンティークな雰囲気の作風です。

（コットン）レースを使った作品やレース風金具（座金）を使った作品も掲載されています。

スワロフスキーのクリスタライズも使用されていて

ポピュラー本屋さんで中国語版しかないので、これを購入しました。
実は、日本語版の本が欲しかったです。
多数の中国語で書かれた資料の名前を理解していない。
私は中国人ですよ笑

A beading book I bought at Popular Book Store during Chinese New Year.
The designs inside this book use many types of antique color metal parts
and findings.
Swarovski crystals and pearls and seed beads were widely used to create various designs.
In Penang, Japanese beading books are rarely found except Beads Friend.
The book I bought is translated into Chinese.
In actual fact, I prefer the book in its original Japanese version cos most of the time, I don't understand the names of the materials written in Chinese. Sounds funny as I am Chinese.
I am so used to English and Japanese beading terms over the years.

Beading kit by Parts Club bought in Sannomiya, Japan.
I took more than 2 hours to finish this though it says take about 90 mins.
The golden pearls, orange beads, FP beads and seed beads combination
created a spring colour of the bracelet.

I always find making accessory easy and fun with pre-packed kits
rather than I have to search thru all my ?~number of boxes for the materials

マレーシアの切手で作ったの作品。
人力車と牛車の切手。
RM2　－　牛車の切手
50セントと30セント　：人力車の切手。

マレーシアで19世紀から20世紀の輸送の最も人気のある最古のモードの乗り物。
旅行や物資の輸送など、さまざまな目的のために使用された。
現代の水準上昇と徐々に段階的に廃止された
モダン交通機関がもっと速くて、安全です。

ペナンでは、まだジョージタウン、特にペナンロードのシティテルホテルの隣やコーンウォリス近くのエスプラネードに沿ってトライショーをたくさん見つけることができます。
ジョージタウンの街がクローズアップ参照したい場合はペナントライショー、または一般的にbecaとして知られている好ましい選択です。
驚くべきではないことほとんど三輪ライダーさんが英語話はペラペラです。
悪い習慣は、道路は、ノーエントリに回し、赤信号を破って、交通ルールに従っていないです。

Traditional transportation - RM2 stamp featuring bullock carts
50 cents featuring rickshaw and 30 cents featuring trishaw.

Bullock carts, one of the earliest and most popular modes of transport in the 19th and early 20th century in Malaysia. They were used for a variety of purposes, such as traveling and transportation of goods. They were phased out slowly with rising levels of traffic and modern
transportation which are faster and safer.

In Penang, you still can find plenty of trishaws around the capital city of George Town, especially next to Cititel Hotel on Penang Road and along the Esplanade near Fort Cornwallis.
Penang trishaws or commonly known as beca is the preferred choice if you like to see the city of Georgetown close-up. Don't be surprise that most of the trishaw riders can speak fluent English
and they are very knowledgeable. One bad habit that I have to mention is they sometimes don't follow traffic rules, turning into no-entry roads and beating red traffic light.

These stamps are issued on 18 August 2004 and it's so difficult to out and tole the wheels
of the trishaws, the tiny wire parts. I have given this paper tole to a friends as souvenir.

Many outstation and overseas visitors came to Straits Quay last weekend.
As Straits Quay is still very new, opened only last November,
it has attracted many people to come and visit this reclaimed land to catch
the beautiful scenery and explore this latest seafront hangout place in Penang.

Many new vendors came to join in the street market this month.
I managed to find time to make friends with some of them when
Michelle and Bill came with my family and help me out for a short while.

To all my customers who had dropped by my stall, a big Thank You for
supporting me.

今年の旧正月は２月３日（木）で
中国人は２月３日の春節（旧正月）から「卯（うさぎ）年」に切り替わる。
私は中国系のマレーシア人です。
長女と三女はアデレードに住んでいますが、今年はペナンに帰ってこなかった。
次女と家族はシンガポールから帰って来た。
今年はお姉さんと姪もロンドンから二週間ペナンで滞在します。
義理のお兄さんはトロントから六週間滞在予定です。
楽しいですよ。。

Michelle and her husband, Jimmy.

米国の妹に頼んでいたビーズ本が届きました。
Present from my sis, Mei Ooi.
I love these 2 designs most in the issue.
A beaded Christmas bauble and a crisscross crystal bracelet.

次女はシンガポールの国立図書館からこのタッチング本を借りた。
この本は、DVD ROMを付属していますけれども、それはなかった
私にとってこの本は絶対、役に立つ本だと思います
今後の自分の技術の幅を広げるために必要でしたね。
My second daughter borrowed this tatting book from the
National Library of Singapore.
Though this book comes with a DVD Rom but it was not
attached with it.
For me to refresh my tatting skills, this is the book that
I can find lots of techniques and designs to practice...
must slot in some space in my craft time table.
