It is not easy to buy beading books in Penang especially Japanese beading books. Only Popular Book Co and MPH carry Beads Friend only. Came across this book by clair de lune and she used a lot of metal parts which are not available here.
Tonite is dinner at Mr and Mrs Horie's condominium by the sea. The menu is of course my beloved Japanese food. Mrs Yukimi Horie's cooking is very delicious... I called her place YUKIMI RESTAURANT
Today, Mr and Mrs Horie took me for dinner. I can't drink cos I am the driver. We have been friends ever since they moved to Penang under Malaysia My Second Home program 8 years ago. Being part of their family, they called me Yoshiko Horie taking their family surname.

生日というのはやっぱり嬉しいもんですね。 今年も周りにいる素敵な仲間に感謝しながら充実した一年を過ごしたいと思います。 My fellow colleagues gave me a farewell party cum birthday party.. We had so much jokes, news update by local Reuter, Datuk Teh and CNN news from Jeff and also some other members.

May, my classmate whom I met when I attended Japanese language class 25 years ago gave me an early birthday cake on 24 August. We love Japanese cultures and Japanese food and sometime we converse in Japanese... Thank you to all of you..Yuh Ping, Datuk Teh, Suan Ewe , Poh Suan, Hong Eng, Cheng Liew, Jessie, Lan Ai and Winnie for inviting me and Jeff. We really had so much fun.

DMC, Olympus and Lizbeth threads from Handy Hands Tatting. Flora, Milford, Coron from Singapore craft shops. Bought some tatting threads at Daiso, Singapore. These are from Turkey. The price of the thread is very much cheaper than the rest. Will use them for practice..... Now...thinking where to put all these stuffs...
